3rd and 4th Grade Art

Every student finish the watercolor application for the Monet piece they are creating. They all showed an understanding of horizon line, perspective, scale and color theory. Because we used high quality cotton rag watercolor paper for this project, we were able to experiment more with liquid watercolors, wet on wet techniques and the application of salt as a new technique with the paintings. The pieces are wonderful on their own, but will be very successful with the addition of the bridges. The construction of the bridges will take some time, but I will keep you posted on the progress.
