1st and 2nd Grade Art

We worked on the Mondrian pieces this week in the Maker Space. The students arranged their primary color pieces on their white boards and glued them into position. The next class we hammered. And bent a lot of nails. And had some successes and some failures, but learned new skills! The students loved hammering nails and showed improvement by the end of the class and even built a few structures to add to the community build. Do not be surprised if your child asks for  hammer, nails and wood for the holidays!
